FMCG company Dabur took down its lesbian couple advertisement on Monday due to huge controversy. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra had warned Dabur of legal action, calling the ad “objectionable”, hours after which the company decided to remove it. Mishra questioned this advertisement of Dabur and said, “Today they are showing homosexuals breaking the fast of Karva Chauth… tomorrow they can show two boys doing rounds, getting married.” Mishra further said that he has directed the DGP to investigate the advertisement and ask the company to remove it.

The company said in a statement, “Dabur as a brand strives for diversity, inclusion and equality, and we proudly support these values within our organization and our communities.
