A 34-year-old Fall River man who was shot final week died Friday at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office stated in an announcement.
Joshua Medeiros was shot close to the intersection of Nashua and Blackstone streets, prosecutors stated. Authorities didn’t establish who shot Medeiros and stated no additional data was out there.
Prosecutors stated they’re now investigating the demise as a murder.
“The investigation is being coordinated by Homicide Unit prosecutor Russ Eonas and will be conducted by Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office and detectives from the Fall River Police Department,” the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office stated in an announcement.
