GOI in Talks With Pfizer And Moderna For Vaccines: The central government is talking to international drug companies Pfizer and Moderna, which manufacture Corona vaccines. This cleanliness has been given by the center after the vaccination of 18 to 44 years of age in Delhi and Punjab at the government centers. The governments of both states have also said that Pfizer and Moderna have refused to supply the vaccine directly to them. Both companies say that they will make agreements only with the central government in this regard.

After these statements first came from the Punjab and then the Government of Delhi, Joint Secretary of the Union Ministry of Health, Love Agarwal said that the government is in touch with Pfizer and Moderna. He told that along with approving the vaccine of these companies, they are also talking about their purchase. Aggarwal said that how much vaccine the two companies will be able to give to India depends on the additional availability of the vaccine. According to Aggarwal, both companies will soon inform the Indian government about their situation in this regard. He said that only after an agreement is made about this, they will be able to provide vaccines of both companies to the state governments.
Government vaccination of 18-44 year old people in Delhi, Punjab is closed
Taking this issue today, the Delhi government had attacked Karakra, accusing the Center of making fun of the vaccination campaign. A senior Punjab government official has also raised this issue. In Delhi from Monday, while in Punjab for the last three days, the government vaccinations of people between the ages of 18 to 44 years are also being stopped from both the governments.
Along with clarifying the position of the central government on the issue raised by Punjab and Delhi, Love Aggarwal also informed that a total of 14.56 crore doses of vaccine have been given to people above 45 years of age in the country so far. These include both the first and second dose. Whereas, between 18 and 44 years of age, 1.06 crore doses have been given as the first dose of vaccine.
