- Masal incident, case registered in police
lakhandur, On reaching home after closing the country liquor shop at regular time during the night, there was an incident of theft of Rs 1.56 lakh in cash by unidentified people by breaking into the country liquor shop. The said incident happened in the Masal of Tehsil during the middle of the night on 31st January. In this incident, a case has been registered against the unknown in the local Lakhandur police on the complaint of country liquor shop driver Hari Mandhare (30).
According to police sources, a person named Jaiswal, a resident of Pawani, owns a shop of country liquor in Masal of Tehsil. The complainant of the incident and other two persons are working as laborers in this shop. On January 31, the complainant shop driver of the incident had closed the country liquor shop during the night at regular time and reached home.
Earlier, on January 29 and January 31, a total cash amount of Rs 1.56 lakh, accumulated on selling country liquor, was kept in the counter of the shop. Meanwhile, during the night, an unknown thief broke into the main door of the country liquor shop and entered the shop and stole a total cash of Rs 1.56 lakh. During this, the unknown thief has also been imprisoned in the city camera while stealing.
However, during the morning of 1 February, when the complainant went to open the country liquor shop as per the rules, the lock of the main door of the shop was seen broken. Whereas on entering the shop, a total of Rs 1.56 lakh cash was stolen from the counter. During that time the complainant of the incident immediately informed the local Lakhandur police about the incident.
According to the information, local Lakhandur Thanedar Ramakant Kokate, Police Sub-Inspector Sandeep Taram, Amardeep Khade, Police Amaldar Manish Chavan, etc. Police officers reached the spot and registered a case against the unknown thief on the basis of the complaint. Further investigation in this case has been started under the guidance of Thanedar Ramakant Kokate.
