Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has come to COVID-19 test positive on Tuesday. Sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that the chief minister, who is currently at his residence in Kannur in northern Kerala, is without symptoms. CEMO sources said that at present, the Chief Minister does not have any symptoms. But he is expected to be shifted to Kozhikode Medical College.
His daughter Veena Vijayan and son-in-law PA Mohammed Riaz were earlier found to be Corona positive. Vijayan traveled extensively throughout the state campaigning for the Assembly elections held on 6 April.
Tendulkar in home isolation
At the same time, former Indian captain and batting icon Sachin Tendulkar, who was hospitalized as a precaution after being found Corona positive, was discharged on Thursday. And now they are recovering in home isolation. The former player, who will be 48 this month, confirmed this on Twitter.
Tendulkar said that he has just come from the hospital. And will remain in isolation, resting and recovering. They want to thank all the people for their wishes and prayers. They appreciate it very much.
The rupee fell to a 5-month low against the dollar, falling 11 paise to close at 74.58.
Tendulkar also thanked the medical staff for taking care of him during his hospitalization. He said that he will always be grateful to all the medical staff who took such good care of him and has been working tirelessly for a year in such difficult circumstances. Tendulkar was admitted to the hospital as a precaution on April 2 after being tested positive. They were found infected with the virus on 27 March. However, the test of all his other family members has come negative.
