In Spain, there have been 11 cases of new forms of corona virus found in India. Spain’s Health Minister Carolina Darias has said that health officials have come to know of two different cases in recent times. He said that an aircraft carrying essential medical supplies including oxygen and respiratory machines has left for India badly affected by Corona virus on Thursday. The new variant of the corona virus found in India has spread to many countries.
The Spanish government last week approved sending a consignment of seven tons of medical supplies to help India deal with the second wave of COVID-19. Meanwhile, vaccination work is going on fast in Spain. On Monday, the target was to give vaccines to 50 lakh people in this country in just 24 hours.
70 per cent population target
Spain’s Health Minister Carolina Darias had said that Spain plans to give vaccines to 70 percent of adults before summer. That means 3.3 crore people will be vaccinated. The vaccination centers here are working seven days and by the first week of June 1 crore people will become fully vaccinated.
Variants reached many European countries
The new variant of Corona found in India has reached many countries. Its cases have been found in six European countries before Spain. In France, three new cases of this new variant were reported last week. All three had traveled to India. Apart from this, cases of this new variant of Corona were also reported in Switzerland. France has banned flights coming from India. He fears that this new variant will not create havoc here like India.
Indian variants in 17 countries
The new variant of the corona virus found in India has been found in at least 17 countries. According to the World Health Organization, the B.1.617 variant was first found in India. After this it has spread to many countries. This new variant of the corona virus has raised the concern of scientists. Despite RT-PCR in India, the virus is not detected.
