Nashik: Once again in Nashik, the pace of increase of Corona patients has gained momentum. Every day 100 new patients are coming out. At present, treatment of 691 patients is going on in the district. These include 438 patients from Nashik. The most worrying thing is that the number of corona patients is increasing but corona rules are not being followed anywhere. Citizens are not wearing masks. The wedding ceremony is being organized in a luxurious manner by big leaders. Due to this, the matter of corona cases is increasing rapidly.
According to the information received, 4 lakh 4 thousand 770 people of the district who have been cured of corona have been discharged. Presently 691 patients are undergoing treatment. Ever since the crisis of Corona is over, till now 8 thousand 756 people have died in Nashik district. District Nodal Officer Dr. Anant Pawar has given this information.

4000 MT Oxygen Stock
Like the rest of the country, the second wave of Corona was in bad shape in Nashik. At that time there was a very bad situation regarding oxygen. Keeping this in mind, the Municipal Corporation has made adequate arrangements for oxygen. A stock of 4000 metric tonnes of oxygen is being kept available every day. For this, 23 projects were prepared for oxygen production. With this, 23 metric tonnes of oxygen will be produced every day.

In view of the increasing case of Corona, 3300 beds have been kept ready in the city. Out of these, 2200 beds are with oxygen facility. Bitco Hospital has the maximum oxygen beds of 650. If needed, preparations have been made to increase 250 beds. There are 150 beds in Dr. Zakir Hussain Hospital, 325 in Thakkar Home, 280 beds in Sambhaji Stadium. Apart from this, there are 180 beds in Meenatai Thackeray Stadium, 500 beds in Social Welfare Office COVID Center, 200 beds in Mori COVID Center, 300 beds in Amber Center, 50 in Satpur Myco Hospital and 60 oxygen beds in Savatanagar Crompton Hall.
