New Delhi: The Congress on Saturday took a dig at the government over fuel prices and inflation through a series of Christmas-based tweets. The party tweeted with a picture of Santa Claus, “On Christmas all we want is a government that listens to us…Thank God Santa is listening to everyone’s wishes because Modi (PM Narendra Modi) ji only Listening to your mind.”

In another tweet, the Congress said, “Imagine snow getting Rs 95 per litre.” The tweet was accompanied by a picture of Santa riding a sledge with a message that read, “Thank you Santa drives a sled, he doesn’t have to pay a hefty amount for fuel.”
In another tweet focused on the Christmas theme, the party said, “Jingle bells…Jingle bells…Jingle all the way…oh what fun it would be to buy things…without burning all your savings away (oh…how much fun if things We don’t have to spend all our savings to buy it).

Taking another dig at the central government, Congress tweeted, “Jingle bells, jingle bells…. Ports, airports, roadways, railways are just a few things Modi ji sells (ports, airports, roadways, railways are some of the things Modiji has sold).”
“They are not making the list, the government is not doing any thorough investigation, they do not have any data – who is mischievous or good,” the Congress said.
