The secret communication department of the Food and Drug Administration Department, Mumbai, got information about the misguided Matter Ayurvedic medicine being available for sale on the Nagpur-Wardha road. Under this, drug inspectors Nagpur and Wardha’s detachment took action and seized ayurvedic medicines worth Rs 15 thousand 800 from various companies.
Various ayurvedic medicines were displayed for sale at Hotel Royal Food located on Nagpur-Wardha road at Khadki. At this place, the department of Food and Drug Administration gave a gift to Badal Pen Oil, Diabetes Care Powder, Digestive Fenugreek in these medicines. The matter of production from Manas Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh came to notice.
Citizens were being misled by the message
Misleading messages and production were written on these medicines on the medicine. Due to this the medicine of this company was confiscated. The message on drug production was confiscated due to violation of the provisions of Section 3 and 4 of the Drug Witchcraft Remedy Act, 1954. This action was taken by Drug Inspector Neeraj Lohkare, Satish Chauhan under the guidance of Commissioner Parimal Singh, Co-Commissioner Samadhan Pawar, Department of Food and Drug Administration.
