Yavatmal, Despite the pending demands of non-college teaching staff, nothing has been received without assurance even after repeatedly submitting memorandums to the government. As a result of this, the Maharashtra State College Non-Teaching Employees Federation has started a movement by tying a black band from December 14 to December 19. Teachers have threatened to go on strike from December 20 if the demands of this period are not met.
While the demands of non-college teaching staff are pending, despite repeated memorandums to the government, nothing has been received without assurance.
Implementation of revised progress assurance scheme, repeal of government resolution dated 7 December 2018 and 16 February 2019, implementation of 7th Pay Commission’s 10, 20, 30 progress plan for three benefits, 5 days week implementation and approval to fill vacancies immediately. The Maharashtra State College Non-Teaching Employees Federation has started an agitation by tying black bands from 14 to 19 December demanding the implementation of the old pension scheme for the employees appointed after 1 November 2005.
After that, the government ignored the demands of the non-teaching employees and decided to go on an indefinite strike from December 20.
Maharashtra State Non-Teaching Employees Union is continuously visiting through memorandum since 2018. But the government deliberately ignored it and played the role of injustice. Retired employees from 2018 are deprived of the benefits of 7th Pay Commission. The federation has given notice to the government regarding all these demands.
At present, Prahlad Kate, President of Amolakchand Mahavidyalaya Shikshakettar Karmachari Unit, President Sandeep Kotambe, Vice President Anil Gothe, Secretary Prafulla Embadwar, Harish Bhagat, Sharad Aade, Ashok Karlekar, Gajanan Golar, M. A. Rajabhoj, Jitendra Dekate, Satish Kadam, Manoj Mohekar, Mahendra Rajabhoj and other employees were present.
