China’s Civil Aviation Department said in a statement that a total of 132 people, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members, were in question. The plane lost contact over the Chinese city of Wuzhou and then crashed.
The plane took off from Kunming city in China at 1:11 pm and was to land in Guangzhou city at 3:05 pm. However, an accident happened midway.

The Boeing 737 that crashed was six and a half years old and was flying at an altitude of 29,100 feet when the contacts broke. However, within just two minutes and 15 seconds, it had fallen to a height of 9,075 feet. In another 20 seconds, it came to a height of 3,225 feet.
