Akola. For the last two years, due to COVID, the children of the kindergarten were feeling suffocated due to not being able to go out. He was not being allowed to meet anyone due to COVID. Due to which boys and girls were under stress. With the aim of providing relief from suffocation to all such children and bringing a smile on their faces, a unique undertaking of outing was realized by Jan Abhiyan Foundation, a leading social sector. In which 141 children of all children’s homes of the metropolis have visited Chikhaldara. Where they were given relief from the continuous stress for the last two years by providing vehicles, food, accommodation and entertainment along with the excursions.
Avinash Deshmukh, the founder president of Jan Abhiyan, participated in this unique undertaking of child welfare committee Akola. For the last few months, the committee has done medical examination of children, corona examination, superintendent, caretaker’s covid certificate etc. The walk was flagged off at the hands of Deputy District Magistrate Prof. Sanjay Khadse, resident of Bidaai in the prominent presence of Police Inspector Shrirang Sanas of Mines Police Station.
On his return, the Police Inspector Sanas of the Tour Organizing Committee organized the arrival and hospitality at the Gayatri Auditorium of the local Sindhi Camp Complex. In this, the founder president of Jan Abhiyan Foundation, Avinash Deshmukh, Sagar Kavre, Praveen Kale, Karthik Podhade, Sagar Dhore, Niranjan Chavan were honored by expressing their gratitude at the hands of Prof. Sanjay Khadse. Vaishali Bhatkar, the superintendent of Gayatri Balikashram, Tapodhara, the superintendent of Anand Balikashram, Shivraj Patil of Suryodaya Children’s Home, Ganesh Jiravankar of Government Children’s Home and Sunil Ladulkar, head of the walk, etc. were also honored.
Child welfare committee president Pallavi Kulkarni, members Sunita Kapile, Mahure, Preeti Palsapgar, women and child welfare officer Vilas Marsale were involved in this undertaking.
