Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement regarding farmers in the assembly on Monday. He said that, “We have decided to pay the outstanding interest of the loans of the farmers who were made defaulters by the incomplete, false loan waiver of the Congressmen.” He further said that, “It is not just about paying interest, it is about respecting the farmers. It’s about their self-respect. We are returning them their respect and self-respect.”
Chouhan said, “48 lakh electricity consumers of the state who had deposited their bills under the Samadhan Yojana during #COVID19 era, they should not be worried, their deposits will be adjusted in future electricity bills.”
He said, “People are facing problems due to the electricity bill of the Corona period, so in view of the difficulties of the public, about Rs 6,400 crore of 88 lakh domestic consumers will be waived off. Now electricity bills will not be recovered from them.

The Chief Minister said, “In the 2011 list, there was a provision to provide houses to 30 lakh poor. Today I proudly say that we have completed 23 lakh houses and construction work is going on at a brisk pace in the rest of the houses, which we will complete by the end of this year.”
Taking the big decision of MLA fund, Chouhan said, “Today we are taking another historic decision. From now on, the amount of MLA fund in Madhya Pradesh is being increased from 2 crores to 3 crores. In that too, the amount of voluntary donation will be Rs 50 lakh.
Attacking the Congress, Shivraj said, if there was a Congress government, many names were cut in the Sambal scheme. Now the Sambal scheme is being redesigned. We will open the portal of registration and will work to re-add the legitimate names.
He further said, the condition of the Congress has become such that a heart has become a thousand pieces, some have fallen here, some have fallen there. Declared Channi ji as CM and made Sidhu ji as president. Sidhu ji said I am not sorry for my defeat, Channi lost from both the places, it is better.
The Chief Minister said, in such a situation, we cannot do anything. Congress had promised to give forest rights lease, implementation of PESA law, employment at local level in its manifesto, did not fulfill a single promise.
Congress did the work of deceiving the Scheduled Tribes. BJP worked to honor tribal heroes with Padma Shri, why Congress never honored them? The Bharatiya Janata Party did the work of paying respect to Lord Birsa Munda, Tantya Mama, Raghunath Shah, Shankar Shah, Bhima Nayak.
Today, I am repeating again in this House that the welfare of Scheduled Tribes is our topmost priority. If you have to take a loan, you will take it, but will leave no stone unturned in their welfare.
Discrimination and injustice started in the politics of Madhya Pradesh, then it happened in the 15-month Congress government, not before that. But we will not behave like this, we will follow the BJP’s mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
