- Plan to run 100 buses in January remained incomplete
- Due to shortage of personnel, private bus operators are in profit
Nagpur. In the first month of the new year, that plan of ST Mahamandal was abandoned, in which it had talked about running 100 buses by the end of January 2022. According to officials, the biggest reason for this has emerged because of the shortage of employees. Although the officials took the help of the employees of the private company to carry out their plan, but due to not having their own employees, they could not make the plan a reality.
At present, from the month of February, both the officers of the corporation and the ST employees sitting on strike are expected to find an accurate solution. So that their troubles can end. According to the officials, he wanted to increase the number of buses so that bus facility could be started in rural areas. There is no shortage of buses near Mahamandal. It has a large network of around 380 buses but there is a shortage of drivers to run it.
Private bus operators are taking advantage of this. If sources are to be believed, since the ST workers’ strike has started, the private bus operators have earned 200 to 300 percent profit. In lieu of which many bus operators have also bought new buses so that maximum income can be earned.
Court verdict expected
The union leaders are claiming that the court’s decision will come in their favor. Believing in his words, the other workers sitting on strike are waiting for the decision to come in February. However, there are many opinions about what is the actual date of the court. On this, the officials of the corporation say that no clear date has been received from the court yet. The dates that are being made for two months are only concocted. All these are tricks to stop the employees from going on strike. They have nothing to do with reality, but one thing is definitely true that these dates have put an end to the number of employees coming back on the job.
