Night curfew has been imposed by the government from 9 pm to 6 am for 1 week to prevent the spread of infection and orders have been issued not to overcrowd at wedding ceremonies and public places. A ban has also been imposed on the gathering of hotels, dhabas, resort places for the joy of New Year’s arrival. Bhiwandi Deputy Commissioner of Police Yogesh Chavan, while giving information in the Journalist Council, said that according to the orders of the government, welcome the new year by staying at home. Blockades and checkposts have been made at 15 places in Bhiwandi city. 2 police officers and 10 -12 police and traffic police personnel will be present at each checkpost. Strict action will be taken against those who drive under the influence of alcohol.
This route will be sealed, SRP will be deployed
Sai Baba Temple and Manakoni Naka will be completely sealed. Those entering the city and going out of the city through the said road will be screened. Special Reserve Police (SRP) have also been deployed at the blockade and checkposts. Driving in Dhoom style, bursting of crackers, sloganeering will be completely banned. Dhabas, resorts, bars etc. will open in the presence of 50% and action will be taken if the hotel is opened after 12 pm. If more than 5 people gather at one place, then action will be taken under section 144. Deputy Commissioner of Police Chavan has called upon the citizens of the city to celebrate the New Year by staying at home with their families for the safety of their lives.
