CBSE Board Exams 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made it clear that the board examinations of Term-1 of classes 10th and 12th will be conducted offline in November-December and now these exams will not be online. Its date-sheet will be announced today i.e. on October 18. Students will be able to download the datesheet for CBSE Term 1 exam from the official website of the board, cbse.nic.in.
The board said that the exams will be of objective type and the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. Keeping in mind the winter season, the exams will start at 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am. CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj told PTI that the results in the form of marks will be announced after taking the Term-1 examinations.
No student will be placed in the pass, compartment and required repeat categories after the first term. The final results will be announced after Term-1 and Term-2 examination. Bhardwaj said that practical examinations or internal assessment will be completed in schools before the completion of term-1 examinations. He said that the allotted marks would be 50 percent of the total marks in the course and schools would be informed about the entire scheme separately so that they could make necessary preparations.
Bhardwaj said that the Term-II exam will be conducted in March-April 2022 and whether it will be objective or long-answered, will depend on the COVID-19 situation in the country. Let us tell you that CBSE offers 114 subjects in class 12th and 75 subjects in class 10th. Bhardwaj said that CBSE has to conduct examinations for 189 subjects. If the exam is taken for all the subjects then the duration of the exam will be 40-45 days.
He said that in such a situation, there should be minimum loss of school education of the students, so that all the subjects have been divided into two parts. He said that in this, the examination of major subjects will be held in the respective schools on the basis of the due date. Whereas for minor subjects, CBSE will form a group of schools where these subjects are taught and the date will be issued on the basis of that.
