He has to pay more money than the fixed fee to reach his destination. Even after this, he is not able to reach his destination on time. When talking to the common man on this issue, he expressed his anguish and appealed to the government to end this strike at the earliest.
Passengers are very upset due to the closure of ST buses. They are not reaching their destination on time even after paying more rent. This passenger transport service started by means of goods carriers, school buses, auto rickshaws and other vehicles, but the administration seems helpless in stopping the looting of passengers.

At present, about 400 private vehicles are engaged in providing passenger service from the city to the surrounding areas. Taking advantage of the opportunity, these private drivers have started charging unreasonable fare. When the victims complain, their point of view is ignored, due to which the work of recovery of excess is going on at a fast pace.

Due to the absence of any penal action against the private drivers who charge more fare from the passengers, the private drivers are getting the indirect benefit of the ST workers’ agitation. In this matter, neither the Regional Transport Department is seen in the mood for action, nor are some strict steps being taken towards the government.

The government should end this strike by any means so that the traffic system can be smooth again. If the strike is not going to end, then at least curb those vehicles which are engaged in making recovery. These were approved for the convenience of the passengers and not to create trouble for them.
