Pimpri: A shocking case of making a fake death certificate of a living wife has come to light in Manchar of Ambegaon taluka of Pune district. In this, a husband made a fake death certificate for his living wife’s death from Corona. In this case, an FIR has been registered at Manchar Police Station against 5 people of husband and in-laws and then village development officer of Manchar Gram Panchayat and a woman employee in total against 7 people.
Among the accused registered in the case are Gita Ram Abaji Pokharkar (38), father-in-law Abaji Laxman Pokharkar (65), mother-in-law Thakubai Abaji Pokharkar (60), Devar Gajanan Abaji Pokharkar (42), Nanad Shantabai Balu Navale (44), Manchar K. The then Village Development Officer K. D. Bhojne, Manchar Gram Panchayat employee Snehal Swapnil Gunjal (26) etc. are included.
