Nagpur. ST Mahamandal has started servicing the buses parked in all the depots during the strike period. Please tell that these buses are standing at the same place for about two and a half months. Due to which the parts have rusted. In order to make the engine of the bus work properly, special instructions were given for their servicing in all the depots. Let us inform that the strike of ST workers is going on for almost 80 days. The purpose of the strike is to merge with the government. The employees want to get permanent jobs in the government, for this it is necessary to merge the ST Mahamandal with the government. All the employees are sitting on strike regarding this.
During this, ST Mahamandal has taken action and fired many people from the job, but even after this the employees are on strike. Although the corporation had asked everyone to return to the job, most of the employees did not like the proposal of the corporation. That’s why he thought it more appropriate to sit on strike. Some public representatives also tried to end the strike but they could not succeed.
389 workers dismissed
The Mahamandal has started action in February. On Friday, 13 employees were sacked. So far 172 drivers, 151 carriers, 8 drivers and carriers, 38 mechanical and 7 administrative employees have been dismissed. According to officials, most of the employees want that no action should be taken against them when they return to the job. But Mandal is not saying anything in this matter. Officials say that there is a guarantee that no action will be taken against those who have not been given notice, but those who have received the notice.
10,412 traveled in 67 buses
On Monday, ST Mahamandal ran about 67 buses for different places. In which Ganeshpeth-23, Imamwada-5, Ghatrod-19, Umred-4, Savner-7, Vardhman-6, Ramtek-2, Katol-1 buses were run. These buses made 199 fares in a day. In which 10,412 people traveled. During this, all the buses traveled 7,18,517 km. On Friday, there was an income of Rs 7,28,517. According to officials, the income will increase only when the full number of buses will be run. For this the strike needs to end.
