British Prime Minister Boris Jhonson said that he had no intention of changing his decision to relax the Coronavirus Lockdown. Johnson said that he has not seen anything like this in the Covid-19 data, because of which the restrictions should be kept in force. The lockdown ending in April is seen as a major step forward in the UK.
Boris Johnson said nothing has been seen in the COVID-19 data, due to which the decision to relax the lockdown in the country should be changed. The British PM said that he was excited about the lockdown to be removed from 12 April. He is waiting for his hair to be cut. From this day all non-essential shops in Britain will be reopened. As a small initiative in the country from Monday, six people will be allowed to meet outside.
No dates, Corona data will tell whether the ban will be lifted or not: PM Johnson
At the same time, foreign travel will be banned until at least 17 May. Places like Performance Venue can be reopened. Johnson, however, has outlined the dates on which he plans to relax the restrictions. The PM has made it clear that the data, rather than dates, will decide whether to remove the restrictions on the scheduled time. He said that till now I have not seen anything in the data, due to which the plan to relax restrictions should be changed.
Corona speed is decreasing in Britain
This statement of the PM has come at a time when the data from the corona shows that the pace of infection has decreased. Britain’s National Statistics Office (ONS) said that the pace of corona infection is decreasing in the country. England’s Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty said earlier this week that the infection rate was expected to decline after schools reopened on 8 March. Let us know that the vaccination campaign in Britain is in its own right.
