Hopefully, the family will get relief from the verdict: Investigator
Vicky Tunstall, Detective Chief Inspector (DCI), who led the investigation for the Metropolitan Police Specialist Crime South Command, said, “It is a very sad case, because now Oswaldo’s family will have to live their lives with the grief of his death.” We know that there was already enmity between the two groups. The sad thing is that due to this, an incident of murder took place that evening. He said that I hope that now the Oswaldo family should get some relief, because the culprits have been given a long sentence.
What was the matter?
Actually, it was told during the hearing that there was a long enmity between Sohal and Oswaldo group. Sukhminder and Michael met Oswaldo and his two friends on 24 September 2019. On this day, there was a clash between the two about something. After this, the Sohal brothers called their brother Kamal for help. At the same time, as soon as the call was received, Kamal reached the spot with a sharp knife. George had also reached here with him.
Seeing the Sohal brothers and George, Oswaldo and his two friends started fleeing. Police said Oswaldo was running alone and both his friends were on a different route. Witnesses said that some people were chasing Oswaldo with a knife. They caught Oswaldo and stabbed him. After this, he escaped leaving him dying on the ground. The accused went to their house after committing the murder.
