By insulting the Prophet, she had not only targeted Indian Muslims, but Muslims around the world. The backlash from the international community was, therefore, inevitable and has tarnished India’s image internationally. Our view is that by participating in such discussions, they (the TV channels and these debates) are being given legitimacy, which we will no longer do,” AIMPLB spokesperson Dr S Q R Ilyas mentioned, reported IE.
“There ought to be authorized motion taken in opposition to these celebration individuals who’ve been accountable. Legal motion is being taken in opposition to protesters who’re protesting their remarks, however no authorized motion in opposition to those that have made these objectionable remarks. We have additionally raised the query as to why there was no assertion or response from the Prime Minister or Home Minister about this subject. Why are they silent?,’’ Ilyas additional added.
