A Boston police investigation into teams concerned in “illegal drag racing” led to officers making 4 arrests, seizing 37 filth bikes and mopeds, together with recovering greater than 36 grams of fentanyl and quite a few weapons.
Officers over the past week have arrested Angel Javier Mejia Lara, 26, of Roxbury; Wallis Baez Pimentel, 31, of Roxbury; Ramon Antonio Villar Peguero, 20, of Roxbury; and Melfi Octavio Rosa Hiraldo, 35, of Dorchester.
The arrests got here after the division in mid-February executed a number of search warrants within the space of 44 Lochdale Road in Roslindale.
“Officers have been conducting a long-term investigation which led them to focus on groups involved in illegal drag racing,” Boston police stated in an announcement. “These illegal events would draw large crowds resulting in excessively loud music, public drinking, and reckless operation.”

Peguero has been charged with: trafficking of Class A fentanyl; 5 counts of distribution of Class A fentanyl; and drag racing.
Hiraldo has been charged with three counts of distribution of Class A fentanyl.
