Nagpur. There was a strong prohibition by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha to pass a bill interfering in the university by the Mavia government. Anger was expressed by burning an effigy of the government in front of the old administrative building of the university. The agitators said that in the bill, the Higher Education Minister will give himself the status of Vice Chancellor, sitting in the post of Pra-Vice Chancellor, he will take full powers in his own hands.
This is the intention of this government. This bill has been passed forcefully. There is political interference in the decision-making process of students and universities, which is fatal. BJYM will never tolerate this. Tomorrow they will sell university land, they will sell bogus degrees. The government which cannot take the test now is preparing to intervene politically. The government should withdraw this bill, otherwise there will be intense agitation in the entire state.
