- Kapil Dhoke gave information in the letter council
Akola. The BJP’s public representatives and the Union Railway Minister are looking indifferent towards the Akola Khandwa railway line, necessary for common citizens as well as farmers, small traders, agricultural laborers. Due to which the concerned are facing a lot of trouble, this allegation has been made by the media panelist of the State Congress, Kapil Dhoke. He was speaking at the Patra Parishad organized at the government rest house.
On this occasion, Congress Research Department President Prashant Gawande, District Farmers Congress President Ravi Patil were present. For the last four years, the work of converting Akola-Akot-Khandwa rail line to broad gauge is going on at a slow pace. The work from Akola to Akot is almost complete.
But the rest of the work is stuck in the vortex of permission and controversy. Neither the Railway Minister nor the local public representatives are showing any readiness to resolve the stalled work. Citizens, farmers, small traders and agricultural laborers are facing problems due to the closure of railway lines.
Flyover work also stalled
Kapil Dhoke said that the safety of school children has not been taken care of while landing on the bridge starting from Kushti Nagar, Carmel Chowk. Also, the Uhan bridge, which started from the NCC office, has been a cause of trouble for the local people. Their problems have not been taken care of by the administration.
As a result, citizens have had to seek a stay from the court. Also, there is a lot of disturbance in the construction of roads in the city. If you look at the quality of Ring Road, Necklace Road or Durga Chowk, Agrasen Chowk, then the quality of the road will look bad. But BJP’s public representatives have nothing to do with it, Kapil Dhoke has said. He also said that the apathy of the public representatives is affecting the citizens.
