On this occasion, the Mayor said that Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has secured first place in e-governance in the state and Pimpri-Chinchwad is known as an advanced industrial city in the country. Pimpri-Chinchwad city is currently moving towards smart city.

Online facility started
Under Digital India, Digital PCMC, the process of issuing online property tax dues and temporary advertisement licenses to citizens by the Municipal Corporation has been started. As a part of this policy, citizens will have to apply for a non-dues certificate and come back to the tax collection divisional office to get the certificate. Keeping in view the inconvenience and wastage of time due to this, online facility is being made available to the citizens to fill property tax dues on the corporation’s website www.pcmcindia.gov.in through Tax Collection Department. This facility has been made available to the citizens on the ‘Property Tax’ link on the main page of the website of the Municipal Corporation. Obtaining property tax non-payment certificate online will be a big relief for citizens as they will be able to get the certificate sitting at home.
Selection of Place for Advertisement through Online Form
The process of issuing temporary advertisement license through transparent online system has been opened for citizens to put up flex/banners of birthdays, tributes, wishes, greetings and other advertisements in the Municipal Corporation with effect from 1st February, 2022 in order to prevent distortion of the city. . This license will be available to the citizens on the website of the Municipal Corporation www.pcmcindia.gov.in. For this, citizens will be able to select the place for advertisement through online form on this website instead of “Temporary Advertisement License”. It has listed 112 designated places where hoardings can be put up, from where citizens can select desired seats.

Namdev Dhake said that citizens would be able to get the license of the place on their mobile and mail id immediately after filling the form on this website and paying their license fee online. Apart from this, in the coming period, the Municipal Administration is planning to provide various types of coupons, incentive points, reward system etc. for those citizens who cooperate with the Municipal Corporation by paying property tax on time.
