Pimpri : Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash has disclosed in the case of death of BJP leader Gajanan Chinchwade, who stirred up the political corridors of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The post-mortem report has proved that his death was due to heart attack. His death is not a suicide. He also informed about the order ordered for an inquiry into how the civil case registered against him at the Chinchwad police station turned into a criminal one.
Gajanan Chinchwade, husband of BJP leader and corporator Ashwini Chinchwade from Chinchwadgaon, died on February 5 at 1 pm. On January 25, a false allegation of cheating was leveled against Chinchwade. This also caused him mental trouble. A case of abetment to suicide was registered at Nigdi police station on the complaint of his wife. After that, BJP state president Chandrakant Patil accused the role of the police. Crimes are being registered against BJP functionaries in various cases. Chandrakant Patil had alleged that the police is working under pressure after seeing the police action in the cases of Standing Committee Chairman Nitin Landge, Councilor Rajendra Landge, former Deputy Mayor Keshav Gholve and official Gajanan Chinchwade.

A case was registered against Gajanan Chinchwad, demanding that a thorough inquiry be conducted into how the offense was committed while it was a civil matter. Disclosing this, Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash said, “The post-mortem report of Gajanan Chinchwade has arrived. According to this report, due to 70 percent blockage in his heart, it is clear that he died of heart attack. This is not a case of suicide. The information about the case registered against him at Chinchwad police station is being sought. Also, an inquiry has been ordered into this matter.
