The ongoing dispute between fintech startup BharatPe and its former managing director Ashneer Grover is not taking its name to end. Bitter words are constantly being used for each other from both the sides. The latest case pertains to a LinkedIn post by a BharatPe employee, in which Ashneer Grover’s sister and company CEO Suhail Sameer publicly clashed with each other.
Karan Saraki, an employee of BharatPe working as an IT Associate, wrote a post on social media platform LinkedIn on Wednesday. Karan said in the post that he and many employees of the company have not received the salary for the month of March.
Karan wrote, “We have been in the company since the inception of BharatPe, but today you have left us on our own because of your internal politics.” Karan also tagged BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer, co-founder Shashwat Nakrani and former India Managing Director Ashneer Grover in his post.

Karan Saraki claimed in his post that BharatPe did not even refund or reimburse the employees’ money that the employees had spent from their own pockets for the company’s work. He said, “We are not rich people and we have to take care of our family, take care of the children. Many BharatPe employees are taking leave from company money in Goa and there employees like us for salary and job. Struggling. What a leader you are!”
Saraki claimed that the initial administration staff of BharatPe have been fired without giving any reason and their salaries have not been paid. On this post by Karan Saraki, Dhananjay Kumar, a former admin employee of BharatPe said, “My mother has a lung disease and is hospitalized. Please return the rest of our money and ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan).”
Ashneer said- ‘First of all focus on the salary’ Ashneer Grover asked Suhail Sameer to look into the matter. Ashneer said, “It is not right. These people’s salaries should be paid before anything.”
Ashneer’s sister commented, then CEO Suhail Sameer gave a sharp answer
Ashneer Grover’s sister Ashima Grover also joined the debate over the post and termed the top management of BharatPe as a ‘bunch of shameless people’. CEO Suhail Sameer replied to Ashima’s comment and said, “Your brother stole all the money. There is very little money left to pay the salary.”
Suhail’s comment criticized
After this many people criticized Suhail’s remark. Vinod Acharya, a business manager, wrote, “I can’t believe a CEO of your level is responding shamelessly. I think you’re trying to get some personal pranks here on the pretext of sarcasm or taunts.” “
Let us inform that BharatPe has accused Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain of financial irregularities. The company had said that both were living a luxurious life by misusing the company’s money. Madhuri Jain was removed from the post of head of controls by the company in February.
