New Delhi: 12 coaches of the Bikaner-Guwahati Express derailed in West Bengal on Thursday evening. The accident happened near Moynaguri in Jalpaiguri district. According to the information received this morning, the death toll in this accident has gone up to 9. In addition, more than 35 people are said to be injured. In fact, 12 coaches of the Bikaner-Guwahati Express derailed in Jalpaiguri on Thursday and during this time some coaches also overturned. The injured are being treated in the hospital.
Giving information about this incident, Union Minister of State for Minorities John Barla said that he visited the accident site of Guwahati-Bikaner Express at Jalpaiguri. John Barla told that people have been rescued and taken to various hospitals. 9 people have died and 36 people are injured.
