Mumbai: The third wave of Corona in Mumbai is taking a formidable form. In view of this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray called a meeting of the task force on Thursday. In the meeting, the Task Force has instructed the government to be ready to deal with the third wave of COVID. In view of the doubling of cases in the state including Mumbai, the task force has advised to stock and buy medical infrastructure, testing kits for Omicron testing, oxygen and anti-covid medicines.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that more than 5 thousand cases have been found in the state, out of which about 4000 new cases have come in Mumbai. The infection rate in Mumbai has reached 8 percent on Thursday.

In the task force meeting, there was also discussion about imposing restrictions, there was also discussion about implementing work from home, on which the final decision will be taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray within one to two years. Apart from this, there has been a discussion about buying and using the anti-viral drug Molnupiravir made for COVID.
