Bank Holidays In November 2021The month of November is full of festivals. Because of this, all 17 banks will remain closed in the month of November. There are many festivals like Diwali, Bhaiya Dooj, Govardhan Puja, Chhath Puja in the month of November due to which the bank will not work. According to the holidays issued by RBI, there are also many days in which banks will not open due to festivals or anniversaries in certain areas.
According to the RBI calendar, bank holidays differ from state to state. Let us tell that there are festivals like Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhaiya Dooj, Govardhan Puja, Chhath Puja in the month of November. Now the glimpse of Chhath Puja is visible all over the country but it is celebrated with great pomp in some districts of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. Banks will remain closed on November 10 in Patna and Ranchi on account of Chhath Puja. In such a situation, according to the calendar of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), there will be a long list of holidays this month.
Banks will be closed for 17 days in November
November 1 – Kannada Rajyotsava – Banks will remain closed in Imphal and Bangalore.
November 3 – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru on account of Naraka Chaturdashi.
November 4 – Banks will remain closed in cities like Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow due to Diwali and Kali Puja.
November 5 – Govardhan Puja – Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bangalore, Gangtok, Dehradun.
November 6- There will be a holiday of bank employees in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow of Bhai Dooj.

7 November – Sunday holiday
November 10 – Banks will not open in Patna, Ranchi due to Chhath Puja.
November 11- Banks will remain closed in Patna due to Chhath Puja.
November 12- Banks will remain closed in Shillong due to Vangla festival.
November 13- Banks will remain closed due to Saturday.
November 14- Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
19 November – Banks will not open in Belapur, Bhopal, Chennai, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Purnima.
November 21- Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
November 22- There will be a holiday of bank employees in Bangalore on account of Kanakadasa Jayanti.
November 23- Banks will not open in Shillong on this day due to Seng Kutsanem.
November 27- Banks will remain closed due to Saturday.
November 28- Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
