Azamgarh. The Public Works Department at Purvanchal Degree College, Rani ki Sarai Azamgarh (Azamgarh) by the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya. Inauguration/Foundation of 242 development projects worth Rs 454.89 crore, in which 128 kms. Inauguration of 60 road projects costing Rs. 242.98 crores, 182 kms Foundation stone of 182 road projects of which cost 211.89 crores is included.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that Azamgarh is one of our priorities for development works. Our government has given Azamgarh a university in the name of Maharaja Suheldev. Our government does not discriminate against the poor, the schemes for which they are made, those Schemes get benefits. Deputy Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir and eligible beneficiaries were benefitted from schemes like toilets, electricity, housing, gas connections etc.

He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, an annual amount of Rs 6000 is also being given to the eligible farmers. He said that under our government a network of roads has been laid in the whole country, now the distance of Lucknow is due to the construction of Purvanchal Expressway. He asked the officials of the Public Works Department to immediately get the stone laid at their designated place. Azamgarh by Deputy Chief Minister on the death of CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife in a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Tributes were paid on this occasion. Many public representatives including Mala Dwivedi, Durg Vijay Yadav, Laxman Maurya, Khandeshwar Rai, Pankaj Mishra, manager of Purvanchal Degree College were present.
