Aurangabad: Corona Pandemic has once again started spreading in the city. For the last two days, due to the increase in the number of patients suffering from the corona epidemic, the Municipal Administration has been alerted. The administration is busy in providing all the facilities in the COVID Care Center amid the fear of spreading the third wave of the corona epidemic.
Chief Medical Officer of Municipal Corporation Dr. Paras Mandlecha said that the number of patients suffering from corona epidemic is increasing day by day. Due to which there are signs of the third wave of the epidemic spreading. In view of the third wave of the epidemic, the municipal administration has started planning to provide all modern facilities in the COVID Care Center and Health Centers of the Municipal Corporation.

War room doctors will contact home isolation patients
Dr. Mandlecha informed that the Municipal Corporation has decided to construct a war room for the third wave. The doctors working in this war room will interact with the patients located in home isolation and get information about their health. This doctor will contact the patients twice a day from the war room and inquire about their health. For which 10 doctors will be working in the war room. The decision on the treatment of the patient will be taken on the critical condition of the patient.
COVID Care Center will be equipped with the availability of oxygen
Oxygen PS plant will be constructed in the COVID Care Center started by the Municipal Corporation after the outbreak of COVID epidemic. The Municipal Corporation currently has 768 Jumbo Cylinders and 254 Oxygen Concentrators available. The work of laying oxygen line has been completed in these four health centers of CIDCO N-8, N-11, Nehru Nagar, EOC Padmapura. Oxygen PSA plant will be set up in these four health centers.
Mandlecha told that during the first and second wave of corona, patients who needed oxygen on a large scale were being shifted to other hospitals. In order that this situation does not come in the third wave, the Municipal Administration has started planning to supply oxygen immediately to every COVID Care Center. A 20 KL liquid oxygen plant has been erected at the COVID Care Center located in Meltran, its test is being taken. Oxygen line will be inserted for 350 beds in this COVID Care Center. Oxygen supply is being done by this line or not, it has been tested. In the end, Mandlecha informed that all the 19 Covid Care Centers that were functioning earlier in the city would be started amidst the fear of corona epidemic and Omicron variants spreading.
