Mumbai: Bhoiwada Police has arrested a 22-year-old candidate from Aurangabad, who has appeared as a proxy candidate for physical test to clear the Mumbai Police Constable Exam. was used. Police is conducting further investigation to trace the proxy candidate appearing for the accused.
According to the police, the arrested accused has been identified as 22-year-old Satish Dadarao More, a resident of Gangapur in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. In 2019 an advertisement was out regarding police recruitment. Interested candidates had applied for the same. Accordingly, after a written test, More was called for a physical test at the Police Ground in Marol on December 14, 2021. During the investigation found here, it was found that instead of Peacock, his friend Krishna Karbhari More (24) was present in his place.

Krishna posed as Satish and submitted fake documents, signed duplicates and ran on the ground and did a physical examination. The complainant of this case, Assistant Police Inspector Rahul Prabhu, was posted in the recruitment. After scrutiny of documents and CCTV footage, it became clear that Satish More had used a proxy candidate. Subsequently, on Prabhu’s complaint, a case of cheating and forgery was registered at Bhoiwada police station.
One candidate arrested earlier
Last week too, the Bhoiwada police arrested a 30-year-old man who used a proxy candidate to clear the Mumbai Police constable exam. Balanath Pawar had taken the help of his distant relative to pass the written test, medical and ground test. The crime came to light during scrutiny of photographs submitted during document verification along with videography of ground test.

Bhoiwada Police Station senior police inspector Jitendra Pawar confirmed the case registered against Satish and Krishna and the arrest of Satish More in police custody and said that our team is on the lookout for the proxy candidate who appeared for Satish .
