According to an interesting news in the afternoon, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma became very upset when the District Magistrate stopped the traffic and there was a massive jam in order to get a jam-free and safe route for his convoy. In fact, a video of this incident by the Chief Minister of Assam reprimanding the officer for promoting “VIP culture” is now going viral on social media. It is clearly visible in the above video that the Chief Minister is going with his Lashkar, when he sees a huge traffic jam. Seeing this, he is very upset. If you watch the video, it can be clearly heard that the CM is angrily saying to the District Collector, “DC sir, what is this drama? Why is the car stopped? Is any king, maharaja coming? Do not do this. People are suffering. Let his car go first.”
After this, as soon as the CM’s order is received, the traffic starts there. The incident took place on National Highway 37 near Gumotha village in Nagaon district of Assam when Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nisarga Hiware gave an order to stop the traffic for security reasons. But when the Chief Minister reached there, seeing the increasing jam, he stopped his car and got down to know the reason.
Due to the jam here, the Chief Minister got angry with the Deputy Commissioner and started shouting loudly at the officer on the order to stop the traffic. He later said that VIP culture would not be allowed in the state.
