In view of the increasing outbreak of Corona in the state, the government has extended the elections to the state’s Agricultural Produced Market Committee, as a result, the tenure of all the 7 Agricultural Produced Market Committee operators in the district has been extended by 3 months, but during this time the administration has to prepare for the election process of the produce market.
Let us inform that the elections of the market committee, which will complete its term by January 23, were to be held, but due to the increasing corona infection in the state, the Department of Cooperation, Marketing and Textiles has issued orders regarding the extension of the above elections for 3 months.
Relief due to Corona crisis
The governing boards of the cooperative institutions of the state have again got a period of three months due to Corona, according to the order of the Cooperation Department dated April 22, 2021, the elections of the market committee have been carried forward from April 24 to October 23, as well as the operators working on October 23. Mandal, Administrative Board and Administrator have been given a period of three months from 23rd October till 30th September, till the election of the market committee and the Board becomes operational.
Election possible after society’s election
