Kannauj: The action of the IT department is going on in Uttar Pradesh. The Income Tax Department in the state has raided the house of another perfume businessman, Mohammad Yakub Malik. Where they got crores of rupees in cash. According to reports, notes were counted at Malik’s house for about 4 hours and cash worth Rs 3-4 crore was found. Let us tell you that even before this, the department had raided the place of a perfume trader Piyush Jain and recovered cash and gold worth crores.
The Income Tax Department team raided the house of perfume trader Mohammad Yaqub Malik in Kannauj. The department has got cash of Rs 3-4 crore in his house. It is noteworthy that the notes were counted through the machine for about 4 hours at Malik’s house. There is also news that some gold has also been recovered in the raid.

According to reports, the investigative agencies had also ordered a machine to count the notes at the house of Mohammad Yakub. At present, Income Tax is still conducting raids at various places. Several locations of Yakub’s younger brother Mohammad Malik have also been raided. The business of both the brothers is spread in many cities.

Earlier, the Income Tax team had also raided the premises of SP MLC Pushpraj Jain alias Pumpi in Kannauj. On the other hand, the Samajwadi Party has targeted the BJP for its action. The SP said that the ruling party is scared, that is why raids are being conducted continuously by misusing the central agencies.
It is to be known that earlier raids were conducted in Kanpur and Kannauj against Shikhar Pan Masala, a transporter and others. Perfume trader Piyush Jain was arrested in the case and over Rs 197 crore in cash besides 26 kg of gold and huge quantity of sandalwood oil was confiscated.
