Wardha, In the famous fire case, finally on Thursday, February 10, on the day of the death of the victim, the accused Vikesh Nagrale was sentenced to life imprisonment. Public prosecutor Ujwal Nikam had demanded capital punishment to the accused, as soon as the decision came, there was a variety of reactions.
Let us inform that, on Wednesday, the court fixed the accused on the accused Vicky alias Vikesh Nagrale, while the sentence was to be sentenced in the case on Thursday. On this side the eyes of the entire state including Wardha were fixed at 10.57 a.m. on Thursday, Ujwal Nikam, the public prosecutor, reached the court complex.
At the same time the accused Vikesh was brought up at 11.10 am, defense lawyer Bhupendra Sone came to the court on 11.13. Ed. Nikam reached the judge’s chamber. Ed. on 11.15. The gold accused came out with Vikesh and discussed him again at 11.17 pm, reached the th room again at 11.20 pm, public prosecutor Ujwal Nikam started rationalism.
He kept his point till 35 minutes i.e. 11.55 am, during which he demanded the death penalty for the accused, for this some cases of the Supreme Court were also admitted. On the other hand, defense lawyer Bhupendra Sone started his talk at 11.56, he did rationalism for 14 minutes i.e. till 12.10. In this, doubts were raised on the FIR of the police. There is a huge difference in the statements of all the 29 witnesses, the accused is innocent. After considering all these things and demanded a decision, the rationalism of both the parties ended on 12.10.

After the end of the court holiday in the afternoon, the court process went on again, during which the judgment was written against the accused. Finally at 4.30 pm, Judge Rahul Bhagwat gave his decision.
I am innocent – Vikesh
When the judge asked the accused Vikesh, he said that, I am innocent. My daughter was five days old on the day of the incident, so I was with her. Saying that my parents are elderly, the responsibility of the family is on me, Vikesh Nagrale appealed to the judge for mercy.

On Thursday, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Prashant Holkar, Additional Superintendent of Police Yashwant Solanke, DYSP Dinesh Kadam, LCB PI Sanjay Gaikwad, SHO Sampat Chavan, API Mahendra Ingle of Cyber Cell, a strong police arrangement was deployed in the court premises.

Keeping in mind the final verdict in the fire case, police personnel were deployed in front of accused Vikesh Nagrale’s house in Daroda since Thursday morning. During this, the house of the accused was locked, while all the family members had gone out to the village.
Families dissatisfied with the decision
Responding to the decision of the court, the parents and relatives of the victim said that, as per our expectation, the decision has not come. We respect the court but this is a serious incident, in this the accused crossed all limits of cruelty, he should have been hanged.
