New Delhi: So far, a total of 415 cases of Omicron form of corona virus have been reported in India, out of which 115 people have become healthy or have left the country. According to the updated data of the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Saturday, Maharashtra has the highest number of 108 cases of Omicron. After this, 79 cases were reported in Delhi, 43 in Gujarat, 38 in Telangana, 37 in Kerala, 34 in Tamil Nadu and 31 in Karnataka.
According to the data, with the arrival of 7,189 new cases in the last 24 hours in India, the total number of infection cases has reached 3,47,79,815 while the number of patients under treatment has come down to 77,032. The death toll has increased to 4,79,520 with the loss of 387 more patients due to this disease. The daily new cases of corona virus are less than 15,000 for the last 58 days.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of patients under treatment is 0.22 percent of the total cases, which is the lowest since March 2020. The rate of patients recovering from COVID-19 is 98.40 percent, which is the highest since March 2020. The number of patients under treatment for COVID-19 has decreased by 484 cases in the last 24 hours.

The daily rate of infection is 0.65 percent. It has been less than two percent for the last 82 days. The weekly infection rate was also recorded at 0.60 percent and has remained less than one percent for the last 41 days. The number of people recovering from this disease has increased to 3,42,23,263 while the death rate is 1.38 percent.
