New Delhi: The Center on Monday made it clear to the states and union territories that no time limit has been fixed for the functioning of the COVID Vaccination Centers (CVCs) and they will be allowed to operate at 10 pm every day depending on the availability of human resources and infrastructure. can start work.
In a letter to the states and union territories, Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary in the Union Health Ministry, said that there is a perception that the COVID Vaccination Centers can function only from 8 am to 8 pm every day. In this regard, it is reiterated that there is no time limit for the functioning of the CVC.

Vaccination sessions are scheduled on demand and as per requirement on any CVC. In case of increasing demand, it is advisable to arrange multiple parties at each CVC to meet the requirement. It is again reiterated that CVC timings are subject to change and subject to availability of human resources and infrastructure, it may be up to 10 PM.”
In view of the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country, Agnani asked all the States and Union Territories to ensure compliance of COVID appropriate practices at all levels. It may be ensured that the COVID appropriate behavior in queues and waiting areas at CVC is strictly followed.
The letter said, “Our efforts should be towards increasing the facilities of citizens along with ensuring safety and quality under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
