Myanmar Protests Deaths have killed 557 people so far. A large number of people have also been injured in the army’s action. The army has killed these people by shooting them on the head, while in the Karen area, bombs have been fired directly from the sky. Since the incident, thousands of people are fleeing to neighboring countries after saving their lives.
Of course, the army is trying to suppress the voice of the people, but still people are talking about continuing their protest and are using different methods for this. People started registering protests in unique ways with women’s clothes (Myanmar Protests Background), then they used garbage and now eggs have been used.
The people of Myanmar have used eggs to protest on the occasion of Easter. Messages have been written on these eggs in a colorful manner (Myanmar Protests Against Military Coup). In these messages, people have lodged their opposition to the army and stated clearly that they oppose the military government. In Yangon, the country’s largest city, people have raised slogans carrying eggs.
This whole controversy started in Myanmar after the elections held in November last year. Here Aung San Suu Kyi’s party National League for Democracy won. But the army alleged that the election was fraudulent.
The Army’s charge was dismissed from the country’s Supreme Court to the Election Commission. However, the army toppled shortly before the commencement of the session of Parliament (Myanmar Protests Three Fingers). As soon as a one-year emergency was imposed, senior government leaders were also taken into custody.
People took to the streets to protest against this incident. The army started killing people by crossing all limits of cruelty to suppress the voice of the people. A large number of people have been detained and punished. People demand that they will continue to protest until democracy is restored in the country and the detained leaders are not released.
