Noida: In view of the assembly elections 2022, on the orders of the Election Commission, the District Election Officer has fixed the rates of expenditure for the contesting candidates. The candidates will have to pay the cost of these rates. District Magistrate cum District Election Officer Suhas LY told that according to the order of the Election Commission, the account of the expenditure of the candidates of the assembly will be kept. He said that a team has been constituted for this.
The District Magistrate said that during the election, along with all kinds of material, food, flags, banners, vehicles installed in the election, the account of the expenses of Ragini singer will be added to the candidate’s account. Each candidate will have to open a separate bank account for election expenses. He told that all types of bill payments will have to be done by the candidate from this account. He said that materials related to COVID-19 have also been included in the election expenses. The cost of a face mask has been fixed at Rs 2 while the cost of 100 to 600 mg sanitizer has been fixed at Rs 18 to 600.

At the same time, the cost of soap (250 ml liquid) has been fixed at Rs 55, face shield at Rs 30, glove-plastic foil at 60 paise and glove-rubber (surgical) at Rs 6 and thermal scanner at Rs 973.
