Pimpri: Despite the increasing infection of Corona in Pimpri-Chinchwad, many people do not wear masks, while the use of masks is one of the biggest measures to avoid it. Masks have been made mandatory for this. Action is being taken against the violators.
The Green Marshal team of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation took punitive action against 961 people who roamed without masks during seven days from January 17 to 23. A fine of Rs 6 lakh 50 thousand 140 was recovered from them. This information was given by Municipal Corporation spokesperson Shirish Poreddy.
