Nagpur. Many times it happens that crores of works are completed and that too glaring but something is left which fulfills the proverb of sackcloth on a velvet screen. The same is visible in many development works going on in the city. Somewhere the work of cement road has been completed but the work of installing the eye-blocks has been delayed for months. Somewhere the dividers in the middle of the road have been ready for months, so plantation work was not started in the middle.
All the work has been completed in Wardha Road in the direction of Chhatrapati Metro Station coming from Wardha Road to Chhatrapati Chowk, but a little part of the road going from Santa College to Snehnagar under the station is tainting the beauty of the station. The work of asphaltization was not done by leveling this part.
only 15-20 meters strap
This part of only 15 to 20 meters is badly blown away. Big ballast is scattered. At the same time, pipes and debris are also lying on the side, which is adding to the beauty of the station premises. For months, the condition here has been uprooted like this but no one is paying attention. If the part of the road is the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation, then the Municipal Administration should complete it and the responsibility of cleaning the debris under the station and making it clear lies with the concerned contractor working for the metro.
The contractor is not paying attention to this. Citizens of Snehnagar say that while coming from inner road to main road, only this part below the station is badly damaged which looks like sackcloth on the cleanliness and beauty of the beautiful station.
