- Danger of clearing bank account with aadhar card
Nagpur, Aadhar cards found at junkyards in the city have increased the concern of the people. They are afraid that through this confidential document, the amount will be withdrawn from their bank account. Because the government has linked all financial activities with Aadhaar these days. Anyway, cyber thugs are so clever that with a little clue, they can harm anyone by getting information about them. In such a situation, what if the original Aadhar card gets in the hands of a vicious criminal?
Sanjay Patil, a resident of Narmadanagar, says that he had changed the address in his Aadhar card about 20 days ago. Because earlier they used to live in a rented house, now they have bought their own house. He updated the address online. After this, he should have got a new Aadhar card through post within 8 to 10 days but it has been more than 20 days but his Aadhaar has not come yet. In such a situation, the Aadhar cards found on Monday with the scrap have increased the concern.
Been tracing since morning
The residents of the city who had ordered for a new Aadhar card are now going to the postal department and trying to find it. Ashutosh Bhonde, a resident of Snehnagar says that I am going to the concerned post office now. If Aadhar has come there and has not reached them, then they will not hesitate to file an FIR in this matter. We are asking for our confidential documents with confidence. In lieu of this, the amount is also being given. Still, it is not worth tolerating such a big negligence. Although the postal department has also swung into action after the incident came to light, they are busy taking action accordingly.
this is just the beginning
Anand Talegaonkar, who retired from the post office, says that somewhere there has definitely been a big negligence. Aadhaar is a very confidential document. That is why it is sent very responsibly. If the address is not understood, then for this reason the mobile number of the person concerned is also recorded on it so that it is easy to reach it. If there is still some problem then there is a provision to send it back. Selling such an important document to any junk comes under the category of legal offense. Maybe it’s just a sample. Don’t know how many bases are rotting in the junk warehouse. Or whether some vicious criminals have got their hands, it is a matter of investigation.
