Mumbai: The Municipal Corporation in Mumbai, having met its first target of vaccination, is now just 19 percent away from the second. As of Thursday, 81 percent of the people in Mumbai have been vaccinated. If BMC officials are to be believed, then this target should also be completed by the end of January. There are 92 lakh 37 thousand 500 people in Mumbai who are above 18 years of age. BMC has completed this target of the first dose. With this, the number of people taking double doses has reached 74 lakh 92 thousand 146 in the city till Thursday. That is, the number of people taking double doses in Mumbai has reached 81 percent.
A senior BMC official said that by January, everyone will have double vaccination in Mumbai. We have enough vaccine available, those who have double dose left should immediately go to the nearest center and get vaccinated.
