Nashik: Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar said, the planning department had fixed a limit of Rs 414.73 crore for Nashik district for the district annual general plan. But Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal demanded an increase of Rs 85.27 crore in this, keeping in mind that Rs 500 crore has been approved. He was addressing a meeting held at Mantralaya.
At present Agriculture Minister Dada Bhuse, Zilla Parishad President Balasaheb Kshirsagar, MLA Narendra Darade, Saroj Ahire, Chief Secretary of the State Debashish Chakraborty, Divisional Commissioner Radhakrishna Game, District Magistrate Suraj Mandhare, Municipal Commissioner Kailas Jadhav, Zilla Parishad CEO Leena Bansod, Integrated Tribal Project Officer and Assistant District Officer Vikas Meena, District Planning Officer Kiran Joshi and heads of all departments were present. The Deputy Chief Minister further said that on the background of COVID, funds have been made available to the districts for district development as per the need. Also, keeping in view the tribal area of the district, 100 crore has been provided for the Scheduled Castes and 290 crore for the Scheduled Tribes. At the tehsil level, the revenue department should plan for the purchase of vehicles through the district annual plan. He also gave such information.
