Amravati. 4 thousand 861 cases were disposed of in the National Lok Adalats organized by the District Law and Services Authority in various courts of the district including District and Sessions Courts. For the purpose of resolving disputes and disputes in judicial cases, settlements worth Rs 12 crore were made in these cases.
Various pending cases resolved
National Lok Adalats were organized in various courts along with district and sessions courts on Saturday. Where filing cases related to motor accident compensation, civil and criminal cases, pending bank cases, negotiable instruments act, land acquisition matters, marriage law claims, bank and civil and criminal appeals and other civil litigation, various such 4 thousand 861 Cases were resolved. This Lok Adalat was organized under the guidance of Chief District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of District Law and Services Authority Ravindra M. Joshi, Secretary of District Law and Services Authority Justice GR Patil and various judges.
40 panels saw work
A total of 40 panels were formed in the entire district for disposal of pending cases in Lok Adalat. This included judges, advocates and court staff. Cases are settled amicably in Lok Adalat. Which saves time and money. It also helps in resolving differences. This National Lok Adalat also got good cooperation from all the parties.
28,706 pre-recorded cases
A total of 28,706 pre-registered cases were registered in the Lok Adalat across the district. Out of which out of 3 thousand 209 cases, out of 9 thousand 311 cases, out of 1 thousand 652 cases, a total of 4 thousand 861 cases were successfully resolved. Compromise cases worth Rs 12 crore 28 lakh 21 thousand 832 were decided through the National Lok Adalat.
3 day special campaign
According to the order of the High Court, a special drive was conducted from 8 to 10 December. In this campaign also 1 thousand 886 cases were disposed of. To make Lok Adalat a success, all the judges of the district, judges of the panel, lawyers, members of the panel and all the jurists tried their best to settle the cases. Various police officers including Naik Arun Hatwar got important contribution in Lok Adalat.
