This report is based on an online survey conducted among 1113 employers and employees across the country. The survey was conducted from February 1 to March 7 among employers and employees from Banking & Finance, Construction & Engineering, Education, FMCG, Hospitality, HR Solutions, IT, ITeS & BPO, Logistics, Manufacturing, Media and Oil & Gas sectors. The survey found that 100% of the employees are in favor of the 4-day working model.

When employers were asked whether they were willing to work more than 12 hours a day for an extra day off, over 56 per cent agreed immediately. At the same time, 44 percent did not agree to increase their working hours. Similarly, 60 per cent of the employees surveyed also showed willingness to work more than 112 hours for an additional weekly holiday. According to the report, 66 percent believe that the four-day working model will help in increasing their productivity.

According to the survey, 52 per cent of the survey participants preferred the third weekly holiday on Friday, while 18 per cent on Monday, 18 per cent on Wednesday and 11 per cent on Thursday.
