- Incident due to tire burst in Kondhali on Amravati-Nagpur road
Kondhali. Three people of the same family, a resident of Jabalpur, died in an accident caused by a tire burst of a speeding car going from Akola to Jabalpur. While the female car driver was seriously injured. The incident happened around 1 pm on Saturday in front of Nirmal Textile Mill, 2 km from Kondhali.
According to the information received, the front right side tire of Hyundai Xcent car number MP-20/CH-3041 going from Akola to Jabalpur on Kondhali-Amravati road burst. Due to which the driver of the car, Archana Sandeep Agarwal (57), lost control of the car. Due to which she got out of control and collided with the divider. The collision was so severe that the car overturned and parked on the Kondhali-Amravati lane.
In this horrific accident, Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh resident Anupam Vinodkumar Gupta (50), his wife Renu Anupam Gupta (45) and son Akshad Anupam Gupta (27) died on the spot. Car driver woman Archana Agarwal, sister of deceased Anupam Gupta was seriously injured. The crashed car belongs to the deceased Anupam Gupta. The visuals of this horrific accident were disturbing, as the heads of all the three dead were badly mutilated. Fortunately, when the car fell on the second lane, no vehicle came from the front. According to the information, this family had gone to Akola to attend the wedding anniversary program of a relative. While returning, this accident happened.
Auto drivers informed the police
Kondhali’s auto drivers Ramzan Pathan and Arun Thawle informed the Kondhali police about the accident. As soon as the information was received, Thanedar Chandrakant Kale of Kondhali, Head Constable Bhojraj Tandulkar, Sunil Bansod, Ravindra Bambal, Sukhdev Dhuldhule, Mangesh Dharpure, Gaurav Mokde and Police Sub-Inspector Ganesh Kumar Bhoyar of National Highway Police Khursapar Traffic Help Center and police personnel immediately reached the spot. Due to this accident, the traffic on Kondhali-Amravati road came to a standstill for some time.
The Kondhali police sent the seriously injured car driver Archana Sandeep Agarwal in an ambulance to a private hospital in Nagpur. The three bodies were taken out from the car and sent to the rural hospital in Katol for post-mortem. Katol’s sub-divisional police officer Nagesh Jadhav, Mahamarg police team’s Sanjay Pandey, Sharad Meshram reached the spot, the police station officer of Kondhali, Chandrakant Kale, reached the spot.
Highly educated family
The family who died in the accident lived in the Civil Lines of Jabalpur and was wealthy and highly educated. The deceased woman Renu Anupam Gupta was a professor in a college and her husband used to do finance work. He had two sons. The eldest son, Akshad Gupta, who died in the accident, was an engineer and was working in a company in Bangalore. His work from home work was going on since the Corona period. The younger son did not come with them.
